Popurrí about my last 2 weeks!

Hello everyone!

Time flies by… Just passed the threshold of my third month in London! Jan is almost over as well, and we have proudly lived through the freezing temperatures we are experiencing here. Literally, I have to go through an ice track to get to work, but still, it is funny to see how we all take our time to cross frozen streets and try not to die in the attempt.

It has actually snowed in London! Brrrr qué frío!

Luke's housewarming party

                            This party has been definitely one of my highlights in London so far.

Let’s start from the beginning… This has been the first proper party we have had since Christmas! Luke, the host, had the brilliant idea to organise a housewarming party and the theme for this was ANIMATION. We had to come up with good ideas and dress up as an animation character as there would be an award for the winner. (We did not win, but I hope we came close…)

The party itself took place last Saturday and we could not wait for the day to come! We were all so excited after the costumes preparation! We had such a blast!

Thank you Luke for the amazing party!!!!!!

National History Museum

Bits and pieces of NHM

Here comes another review of one of the most popular museums in London. It is now time for National History Museum’. First of all, it is a free entrance one with plenty of facilities for money-savvy experts as myself, offering a picnic area if you are bringing your pack lunch with you, a free “investigators workshop” where you can use microscopes, touch and weight the most weird fossils and creatures in the world. Definitely, if you like DINOSAURS and are keen on our planet and the biggest threats to human existence, THIS IS YOUR MUSEUM.

What is it like visiting Cambridge with a Minion?

Last week in Lodon for Alex, let's visit Cambridge dressed up as a Minion!

I bet last Sunday was the only long-lasting sunny day since 2017 started, and luckily we were meant to set off to Cambridge. We visited this erudite city the day after the fancy dress party took place, so Alex was still dressed up as a Minion and would not take it off until we got back to London. He was so warm with it on!
We decided to take the train from King's Cross Station to Cambridge. And I believe I we got it right as the train tickets were reasonable cheap! We spent only £16.90 for both ways and it took us only an hour to get there. If you are planning to visit Cambridge at weekends, you would rather take the train than the bus as it is more affordable and quicker and offers better schedules.

At Cambridge, we made the most of our SUNNY DAY and had a lovely meditation in one of the Colleges lawns, we climbed up to the Great St Mary's Tower from where we had a amazing view of the main colleges and most ancient buildings in Cambridge. Look at the wonderful aerial pictures of the city centre we took from there!
